She challenged her mother for the throne at the early age of seven because she thought she could win. She was killed accidentally with a narwhal horn affixed to the tip of Coral's tail, but not before almost killing the queen.

The statue was later destroyed by Coral and Anemone in The Lost Heir.
Queen Coral still loved and missed Orca, despite the fact that she nearly killed her. According to Queen Coral, Orca was a very talented sculptor. The queen also wrote her first scroll based on the event titled "The Tragedy of Orca". Part of this scroll was recited during Whirlpool and Tsunami's first Aquatic lesson in The Lost Heir.
