Obsidian is a male NightWing who was introduced in Winter Turning. He is a guard who currently resides in the Rainforest Kingdom.
Appearance
Obsidian has black scales[1] and sharp teeth.[2] He is sly-looking,[3] with a forked black tongue and a calculating,[1] superior expression.[4]
Personality
According to Moonwatcher, Obsidian has dark thoughts. He hates being on guard duty and being told what to do by RainWings, as well as being partnered with Bromeliad.[5] He tried to be as cruel and commanding as possible towards Winter because he wanted to see him squirm.[6]
Biography
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
While Moonwatcher was checking if there were any dragons approaching them, she read Obsidian's mind, and described him as "someone with dark thoughts." Later on, Kinkajou flagged him down, and he escorted them to the NightWing village.
Obsidian was seen complaining to Darkstalker about insects in the rainforest.
