Template:InfoboxQueen Oasis was the mother of Burn, Blister, and Blaze, and the queen of the SandWings before her death by three scavengers who sought her treasure. The deceased queen was described as old, powerful, ruthless, fierce, canny, and proud. She is featured in the prologue of The Brightest Night.
History
After Queen Oasis was killed by scavengers, her three daughters conflicted over who would be the next queen. Two years later, all of Pyrrhia (except for the tribe of the RainWings and NightWings) erupted into war.
Burn, the eldest, allied with the SkyWings and MudWings, while Blister, the middle sister, fought with SeaWings. Blaze, the youngest, being the most popular queen with the SandWings, had many of her own tribe, as well as the IceWings on her side.
Oasis had mentioned that when Blister hatched, she was sure she was the one who would kill her to take the throne. Queen Oasis got along well with Burn, apart from Burn's obsession with "creepy things." Oasis describes Blaze as "dizzy" and "a terrible queen", but she was a good daughter.
Oasis never approved of Smolder falling in love with Palm; Smolder revealed that he had no idea what Oasis did to her, but he never saw Palm again. Smolder also claims that "mother never let us have dragonets."
