Nautilus is a SeaWing and the leader of the Talons of Peace. Squid is his son and only known relative, who used to be one of the false dragonets yet chose to quit.
Biography
Nautilus first appears in the prologue of The Lost Heir. He and Cirrus confront Webs at the entrance to the underground river and try to kill him, claiming that Webs had failed them by letting the Dragonets of Destiny escape. However, a Talons of Peace infiltrator (though unknown at the time) named Crocodile knock Nautilus and Cirrus out so Webs can get away.
Nautilus appears again in the epilogue of The Lost Heir. Morrowseer has him explain the concept of The False Dragonets to Blister, who approves.
In the prologue of The Hidden Kingdom, he, Morrowseer, and The False Dragonets are at the Talons of Peace camp. Morrowseer tells Nautilus that he would be taking the False Dragonets to an unknown location, later revealed to be the Night Kingdom, to train.
His most recent appearance is in the epilogue of The Dark Secret. He and his son, Squid, encounter Blister as she is waiting to meet with Morrowseer. When Morrowseer does not show up, Blister says that it must be the Dragonets of Destiny's fault.
Personality
Nautilus is very overprotective of Squid. He is terrified of Morrowseer and Blister.
