Mosaic Garden

The Mosaic Garden is a garden in Cicada Hive.

The garden is described in The Lost Continent to be "glimmering in droplets of amber and gold, cobalt and jade, obsidian and pearl". This could mean that the mosaic is made out of some of the same gems, but is most likely made out of different colored glasses. The garden is located at the top of the Hive where there is no roof, so the garden is brightly lit by the sun. It is described as having grassy slopes with flowers and hedges in an orderly fashion going from rose to carnation to marigold and then to violet. The path was described to be random and seeming to cross over itself many times, but eventually, it spiraled back to the center. In the center is the Salvation mosaic depicting the end of the Tree Wars, which Blue remarks has too many dead SilkWings for his taste. The centerpiece of the mosaic is The Book of Clearsight, held by Queen Wasp, done in gold tiles. Luna and Blue admire the centerpiece on Luna's Metamorphosis Day, and Admiral mentions it in The Flamesilk Factory.
