Template:Infobox Queen Moorhen is the queen of the MudWings. She is one of the largest queens in the series, and wears diamonds on her head and ankles.
History
The Brightest Night
Moorhen gathered her army to prepare for an invasion into the IceWing territory with her SkyWing allies. Sunny visited Moorhen during her nightmare about her brother and sisters dying. Sunny convinces her not to go through with the invasion by using a dreamvisitor, and to arrive at Burn's Stronghold a few days later for the peace summit. Moorhen agrees, but is unsure it will solve anything. She is present at the stronghold at the end of the book.
Personality
Moorhen is the Bigwing of her clutch, and as such is very protective of her siblings. Her protective instincts might also extend to the rest of her tribe. According to Reed, Moorhen is a good queen, and well liked by her fellow MudWings.
