Mindreader

Template:Infobox CharacterMindreader is a NightWing featured in The Dark Secret and at the time was too young to leave the Night Kingdom on his own according to NightWing custom. In Moon Rising, he is a student at the Jade Mountain Academy, attending the Copper Winglet.

History

The Dark Secret

Mindreader was one of the 'students' Starflight encountered in the cave he woke up in after being knocked out. He made a joke about staying out of Starflight's head hence his name, which most of the NightWings in the room laughed at. Starflight didn't get how the joke was that funny, but later realized that no NightWing has had telepathy or precognition for over a century, which is likely the reason why the NightWings laughed.

Moon Rising

Moonwatcher thought about Mindreader and about how his name is not true: NightWings hadn't had mind-reading powers for generations until she hatched, so his name just fit the NightWing custom.

Trivia

• In The Dark Secret, Mindreader is said to be male, but in Moon Rising, he was written as female. This is most likely a typo.
