Malachite is an adult male HiveWing who was Lady Scarab's secretary when she was the minister of education. According to Lady Scarab, Queen Wasp first forbade Malachite to marry Katydid, and then took him away to Wasp Hive to work for her. He currently does not know about Cricket's existence.
