The Kingdom of the Sea is the home of the SeaWings. There are two palaces, the Deep Palace and the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace was built by a animus dragon named Albatross, who went insane and turned evil trying to kill everyone because of his ability being too deep for him to manage. The Deep Palace is underwater and the Summer Palace is on land, on a remote and isolated island which is near impossible to discover. The Deep Palace is difficult to locate, for it's hidden, far below the surface of the ocean, maybe even miles below.
Furthermore, the Bay of a Thousand Scales is located near the east end of Pyrrhia, right where the "tail" would be on the "dragon".
Geography
The Kingdom of the Sea is spread out over much of eastern Pyrrhia. It is home to the Bay of a Thousand Scales, a chain of islands in the shape of a dragon tail. There is at least one scavenger den in the Bay of a Thousand Scales. The SeaWings built two palaces: a Summer Palace and a Deep Palace. The Summer Palace is where Blister and her SandWings conduct business with Coral, because the Deep Palace is underwater so only SeaWings can visit.
Summer Palace
The Summer Palace was created by a SeaWing animus dragon named Albatross, who grew the twelve-story pavilion out of stone before going insane and attacking everyone. The Summer Palace was configured for Blister and the SandWings to visit easier. The Summer Palace is hidden by a canopy so that the other tribes don't find it. At the end of The Lost Heir, the Summer Palace was discovered by the SkyWings and MudWings after noticing the hole in the canopy that as left when Blister ripped Webs out of his hiding spot. There are twelve stories, and in the middle there is the council level. There are twelve pools of water for the twelve council members.
Deep Palace
The SeaWings prefer the Deep Palace, because it is deep underwater. It is home to the Royal Hatchery. After the Summer Palace is attacked and destroyed, Coral, Anemone, Auklet, and the SeaWings flee to the Deep Palace, which means they can't contact their ally Blister.
Royal Hatchery
All of the Royal SeaWings (except for Tsunami) were hatched in the Royal Hatchery at the Deep Palace. A statue of Orca, Coral's first daughter and secretly an animus, is inside. The statue turns out to be enchanted to kill any female dragonets close to hatching inside. There are several clutches of male dragonets, but few females have hatched. Only Tsunami, Anemone, Auklet, Orca are known to have hatched in the palace. However, Tsunami, Anemone, and Auklet were hatched because of extra care: Queen Coral stayed by Anemone's egg for a year, leaving her husband Gill to lead the SeaWings (leading to his capture and eventual death by the SkyWings); Tsunami was stolen from the Hatchery by Webs for the prophecy before she could be murdered; and Tsunami stayed with Auklet's egg and fended off Orca's statue until Auklet hatched.
