The Jade Winglet is one of the five winglets at the Jade Mountain Academy.

The second arc (books 6-10) tends to focus on the students in this winglet (except Carnelian and Umber, and additionally including Peril) as it contains the protagonist of Moon Rising and Winter Turning, Escaping Peril, Talons of Power, and possibly book 10.

The winglet is sorted into clawmates. Moon, Carnelian, and Kinkajou are one set. Umber and Turtle are another. Winter and Qibli are the third set.
