The Ice Kingdom makes up the "head" of Pyrrhia / the northwest area of it, and is the home of the IceWings. The kingdom is composed primarily of mountains, glaciers, and floating ice on the surface of water, with extremely cold temperatures that often reach subzero. The weather is complementary to the IceWings' powers and traits, which is ruled, and overseen by Queen Glacier. The biggest reason the dragonets didn't want to get captured here was because any dragon besides an IceWing would die of hypothermia if forced to stay there for too long.
Description
Queen Glacier's Palace is at the far north on the peninsula, and is said to be made partially or entirely of ice. The palace is described to be consistent of such a low temperature that no dragon else other than an IceWing would be able to survive.
In the The Hidden Kingdom, Glory and Jambu disguised themselves as IceWings to meet Blaze, testing her if she was worthy of the next ruler of the SandWings.
Blaze's Fortress is near the edge of the Ice Kingdom, for the reason that SandWings aren't comfortable in climates with subzero temperatures. Deathbringer was hiding near the border, possibly indicating that he lived in the Ice Kingdom while waiting for dragonets and Blaze.
If Blaze had won the war, the Ice Kingdom would of been expanded to include the rocky land bordering the Kingdom of Sand. There is very little there, but Deathbringer pointed out that there may be treasure buried beneath the rocks.
