Queen Grandeur was one of two known queens of the RainWings descended from the original lineage of RainWing royalty, Glory being the other.
She is a distant relative of Glory and possibly Jambu, and Glory describes Grandeur as the only queen who actually acted like a leader, as the other queens did not perform their proper duties.
Kinkajou told Glory that Grandeur was only allowed to be seen once a week for no more than an hour. Grandeur was also elderly, and Magnificent insulted the aging queen about being too old for the treetop contest, without realizing her own words of taunts.

In addition, she told the other queens that Glory would indeed be a better queen than all, not caring what their opinions were. Grandeur was simply narrating the truth about what the old RainWings and their customs.
Grandeur is one of the few RainWings that actually acted like the other dragon tribes under stress. She is close to Glory and a big help in battle planning.
When Starflight uses the dreamvisitor to visit Kinkajou, she is with Sunny and Tsunami who were talking about Starflight near the sleeping Kinkajou.
Grandeur helped free the RainWings with the spear during the attack on the NightWings.
Grandeur helped Glory organize the NightWings when they fled to the RainWing Kingdom. She and Mangrove were later left in charge of the rainforest while Glory attended the peace summit at Burn's Stronghold.
Trivia
- The word grandeur is synonymous with the word glory.
- Grandeur seems one of the few RainWings that Glory really trusts.
- She is a RainWing that actually takes life and her rule seriously. (The others being Glory, Mangrove, Kinkajou, perhaps some of the prisoners)
