Fjord was an IceWing prisoner pitted against Clay in the SkyWing Arena. He appeared to be intent on surviving, for that before he fought against Clay, he had killed four others in the arena. According the the description of The Dragonet Prophecy, Fjord was 'only a head taller than Clay, but looked scarier and older'. He had pale blue scales with darker blue eyes. Clay first tried to reason with Fjord when they were thrown into the arena together, then reluctantly fought him, surprising him with SkyWing tactics he had learned from Kestrel, yet Clay thinks Kestrel would rather say that he fought like a lame wild beast instead of the 'SkyWing' from Kestrel's aspect. He was greatly annoyed at the fact that Clay was doing more talking instead of fighting, and made snide remarks. Fjord had Clay pinned down when Tsunami flung herself off of her spire, causing a distraction. This unknowingly bought time for Glory to spray venom into the IceWing's eye, which led to his eventual death. Little else is known of Fjord's life, although he was presumably one of the IceWing allies of Blaze before being captured by Queen Scarlet.

Template:Infobox Fjord was a pale blue IceWing with darker blue eyes. In The Dragonet Prophecy, he was pitted against Clay in the SkyWing Arena. He appeared to be intent on surviving, as before he fought against Clay, he had killed four others in arena matches. According to the book, Fjord was 'only a head taller than Clay, but looked scarier and older'. Clay first tried to reason with Fjord when they were thrown into the arena together, then reluctantly fought him, surprising him with SkyWing tactics he had learned from Kestrel. Evenutally, Fjord pinned Clay and was about to kill him when Tsunami flung herself off of her spire, causing a diversion. This distracted Fjord and also bought time for Glory to spray venom into the IceWing's eye, which led to his quick and horrible death. Little else is known of Fjord's life, although he was presumably one of the IceWing allies of Blaze before being captured by Queen Scarlet.
