Eclipse was one of the three dragonets that Clearsight and Darkstalker might have had in a formerly possible future. However, it was less than probable that she would have existed, since Darkstalker was later put into an eternal sleep by Prince Fathom and Clearsight due to them realizing that Darkstalker was becoming homicidal. Eclipse was said to be in need of Clearsight's mind-blocking bracelet the most, making it likely that she would have had an issue with dragons reading her mind. It was mentioned that one of Darkstalker's and Clearsight's dragonets were an animus, this could have been Eclipse.
Biography
When Darkstalker gave Clearsight the copper bracelet (the same object later used to put him into eternal sleep), Clearsight said that she loved it, and Eclipse would need it the most. Darkstalker was surprised that she mentioned their future dragonets, and remarked to her that he thought they would choose the name Shadowhunter over Eclipse for the dragonet. Clearsight then confirmed to him that Shadowhunter would be one of her older daughters.
