Biography
Pre-Series
Clearsight was one of Darkstalker's few, very close friends and, around two thousand years ago, was his love. When Darkstalker made the three dreamvisitors, he gave one to Clearsight, kept one for himself, and gave one to his friend Fathom, a SeaWing Animus and prince, to keep all three of them together no matter how far apart they were. Eventually, Fathom became convinced that Darkstalker was evil, and plotted to stop him with Clearsight's help. Clearsight looked into the futures in which Darkstalker would become evil, and ignored the other ones where he became good. Because of this, she was convinced by Fathom that Darkstalker was evil, and ended up betraying Darkstalker by making him put on a bracelet that Fathom had enchanted to put him in eternal sleep. When the bracelet broke around 2,000 years later, nothing was heard from her, though it is said that Darkstalker wonders what happened to her, because she had disappeared the day she betrayed Darkstalker.
Clearsight is first shown as a two year old dragonet frantically trying to sort out every timeline and write down every possible future. Her father, quite concerned for her mental health, interrupts her. He states that she should take a break and that what a two year old dragonet can't endanger the tribe, which she knows is untrue in her case. He tells her that she must start attending school, to which she points out that her timelines "explode" when she does. He reluctantly agrees to let her have more time to herself, but says she must start attending by the time she's three.
She is next shown when she is three, heading to school for the first time. She rushes to get ready and go to school early, as she knows that Darkstalker will be waiting for her if she gets there on time or late. She flies to school and meets Professor Truthfinder, who is supposed to place her in her classes for the year. He is highly suspicious of her, and asks if she would rather be placed among the four year olds. She tells him she wants to stay with dragonets her own age, and he begrudgingly accepts and moves on. She finds her way to the Tower of Knowledge and enters her seer training. She quickly realizes that her classmates and her teacher, Allknowing, have a different type of sight than she does and attending the class won't help her use her powers. Clearsight also sees that whatever was going to happen between her and Allknowing, it wouldn't be good.
Allknowing assigns a NightWing named Listener to take care of Clearsight for the day. Clearsight notices the mind reading silver scales behind Listener's eyes, and ends up thinking some very negative thoughts about the other dragon, but she apologizes. Clearsight looks into the future to see whether she and Listener will get along, and the mind reader ends up saying that she'd rather not know anything about her future. This leads to Listener telling Clearsight about her plan to free all of the pet scavengers in the school. Clearsight then learns that scavengers seem smart and posess dragon-like emotions.
During their conversation, Whiteout walks over to the two friends, and has apparently earned the nickname "Weirdout". Whiteout then asks Clearsight if she's the dragon her brother's been waiting for, and Clearsight says yes, she is. Whiteout then tells Clearsight that she's glad that she's finally there, and Listener says that Whiteout is weird after the hybrid has walked away.
Listener then asks if Clearsight knows Darkstalker, and says that he's the smartest dragon in the history of the NightWings. After the teacher has released the students for a brief recess, Clearsight starts to search for Darkstalker. She spots a group of NightWings bullying Whiteout, and watches as her brother stands up for her. Clearsight comments on Darkstalker's reaction, and he finally realizes who she is.

Trivia
- The stuffed NightWing in Burn's stronghold was possibly a descendant of Clearsight, since Starflight suspects Scarlet found her dreamvisitor inside or with it.
- Her precognition is stronger than Darkstalker's, as she can make timelines and pick out futures better than him.
- She can see all possible futures. Her power is stronger than future-teller the NightWings have had for generations.
- Her strong foresight sometimes comes out as prophecies, for example: The SeaWing brings death. The SeaWing brings salvation. Don't let him come. He must come, or all is lost.
