Moon saw Carnelian in the sleeping quarters and soon realized that she would rather fight in battles than go to school with other tribes by reading her mind. Carnelian constantly complained about how Kinkajou talked all day and Moon talked all night, and she shot mean looks towards Flame due to his past involvement with the Talons of Peace. Later, Carnelian went to the history cave, but Moon and Qibli told her to not go into the history cave, but she ignored them. Sora's dragonflame cactus exploded, killing her along with Bigtail. However, the explosion was actually meant to kill Icicle.
