Cardinal is a male SkyWing dragonet mentioned in Escaping Peril when he was noted to 'drool when he sleeps'. The other dragonets were talking about how Scarlet's disfigured face looked, and it was discussed that Scarlet's face looked even grosser than when Cardinal drools, to which he responded "Shut up!".
