Cardinal is a mentioned male SkyWing dragonet in Escaping Peril noted to 'drool when he sleeps', when the other dragonets were talking about how Scarlet's disfigured face looked in the SkyWing wingery, it was discussed that Scarlet's face looked even grosser than when he drools, to which he responded "Shut up!".
