Arid is a SandWing dragonet of unknown gender attending Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Quartz Winglet. They appeared along with Pronghorn and Ostrich when Moon and Qibli came to talk to Onyx about the fire in the history cave. When Moon read Arid's mind, it was discovered that they either supported Burn or Blaze during the Great War, but now support Thorn and are highly respective of her or anyone involved with her, such as Qibli or Ostrich. It is unknown if Arid will be mentioned in the upcoming books at all, though it's not likly.
