Animus Dragons are those who have power over physical objects and if they try hard enough, animals. SeaWings, NightWings, and SandWings have been confirmed to have animus dragons.

Abilities of an Animus

Animus dragons can enchant objects to do anything - from levitating, to visiting someone's dreams, to forcing an entire structure to collapse.

An SeaWing animus dragon named Albatross built the SeaWing pavilion in the Summer Palace by making rocks grow into the desired formation before going mad and trying to kill everybody possible. Another SeaWing animus, Orca, made a statue to kill all the heirs to the SeaWing throne.

However, every time an animus uses their powers, they lose part of their soul. But a NightWing animus, Stonemover, figured out a way to transfer the soul loss into his scales, turning them into stone.

Stonemover enchanted a fox to bring him the food he needs, for he is too weak to do it himself.
