The dreamvisitors are three animus-touched sapphires enchanted by Darkstalker, originally created to connect him, Fathom, and Clearsight.
Description
The dreamvisitors are three star-shaped sapphires[1] that glow with an eerie blue light, enchanted to grant the user the ability to enter the dreams of another dragon. When the user holds the dreamvisitor to their forehead, they must concentrate on their target. If the target is in shallow sleep, or is experiencing a nightmare, the user can see the target and the target's dream, but the target will not be able to hear or see the user. If the dragon is in a deep, calm sleep, the user can talk to the dreamer.[2] The user can only dreamvisit someone they have seen before.[event 1]
History
The Dragonet Prophecy
Glory was dreamvisited by Scarlet while she was sleeping during suntime. In her dreams, Scarlet showed the dreamvisitor to Glory, who recognized it from scrolls she had read, and threatened to find and kill the dragonets of destiny before setting fire to Glory and waking her up.
Starflight found a dreamvisitor in the claws of a skeleton of a NightWing in the NightWing fortress treasury when he and Fatespeaker were exploring. He took the dreamvisitor from the skeleton of the NightWings and used it to communicate with Glory in the rainforest during her suntime. When he was brought out of the dormitory by Morrowseer, Starflight hid the dreamvisitor under his pillow. After returning from training, Starflight discovered that the dreamvisitor was gone.
Sunny found two scavengers in a ruined scavenger den (Valor), which she named Fluffy (Leaf) and Holler (Ivy), who were carrying a bag of SandWing treasure. Sunny took Holler for a ride and emptied the bag, finding the dreamvisitor. She used the dreamvisitor to dreamvisit Blaze and Queen Moorhen to convince them to meet at the SandWing stronghold on the false brightest night and decide a queen for the SandWings.
The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Moonwatcher read the mind of Icicle when she was talking to a dragon in her dreams, which was later revealed to be Scarlet. Moon told Sunny about this, who said she kept one of the dreamvisitors with her, and that Scarlet must have had another dreamvisitor.

After Flame's attempt to murder Stonemover, Darkstalker found the dreamvisitor he stole from Starflight in his pouch and accused him of being the "darkness of dragons" and "stalker of dreams" in the Jade Mountain Prophecy. Sunny asked him how he managed to hide it when he was healing from Viper's sting, and Flame said he had "idiot help," referring to Ochre.
Later, when Qibli asked Turtle if he could make him immune to animus spells, Turtle said that some spells were good, specifically mentioning the dreamvisitors. When talking about Darkstalker and his group's journey to the Rainforest Kingdom, Qibli wished they had a dreamvisitor of their own. After he arrived to the kingdom, Darkstalker commented to Glory that Sunny used her dreamvisitor to warn her about his arrival, even though he asked her not to.
Qibli briefly thought of the dreamvisitors when questioning whether Darkstalker could sense the usage of Turtle's bowl. Later, Sunny mentioned that she found Ostrich, who had recently gone missing, using her dreamvisitor. She said that she wished she had not let Darkstalker take the one Flame stole, and Peril and Starflight said that they were originally Darkstalker's in the first place.
