Scorpion was an adult female SandWing who ruled as queen of the SandWings during the era of Darkstalker. She died of a heart attack, which was induced by Jerboa after ruling for approximately sixty years.

Jerboa noted that she could not remain in the desert until Scorpion was dead. She described Scorpion's greedy and possessive nature as she travelled through the Mud Kingdom. As she thought about enchanting an animal egg to be her future dragonet, Jerboa realized that she had to wait for Scorpion's death for it to be safe to have a dragonet. Jerboa later thought about the heart attack that she had enchanted Scorpion to die from. Jerboa told her daughter Boa, stories of Scorpion's cruelty which Boa remembered very clearly. Boa compared Snowfall to Scorpion, fearing that Snowfall might end up on the same path as Scorpion.
