Scald was an adult male SandWing prince who was introduced in Deserter. He was one of King Char and Queen Oasis's three sons. He was killed by Burn during the War of SandWing Succession. Prior to his death, he resided in the SandWing stronghold.

The Dragonet Prophecy
Scald was mentioned indirectly when Smolder told Sunny that his brothers were killed because they "made the wrong dragon mad." This included Scald, though he was not named.
