The PoisonWings were a coalition of extremely militaristic LeafWings founded by Linden, who wanted revenge on the HiveWings and SilkWings after what happened in the Tree Wars. Belladonna became their leader after she died.

Belladonna and most of the PoisonWing army were under the control of the othermind. The rest temporarily settled in Pyrrhia with the SapWings before returning to Pantala and living in the LeafSilk Kingdom.

Goals/description

All PoisonWings are biologically LeafWings. They do not have traditional LeafWing names — rather, they are named after carnivorous and poisonous plants that are in the Poison Jungle.[1] The last LeafWing queen, Sequoia, had ordered Linden, Belladonna's mother and an important general, to abandon the battle and go into hiding to wait until Queen Wasp died, but she refused.[2] The PoisonWings wanted revenge on the HiveWings for destroying all the trees on Pantala. They had arranged marriages, usually with two dragonets with the strongest leafspeak.[3] These marriages were based on the two partners' leafspeak abilities, somewhat in a fashion similar to selective breeding.
