Peregrine is a male SkyWing dragonet who was introduced in Moon Rising. He currently attends Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Copper Winglet and is the clawmate of Pronghorn. He is deaf in one ear due to an explosion during the War of SandWing Succession.

Clay had gathered Peregrine and all the other SkyWings at the academy to hear Peril's story of the duel between Queen Ruby and Ex-Queen Scarlet.
