The RainWing's scales were a heavy gray, like rain clouds, a colour of sadness. Though conscious, he neither struggled nor helped the NightWings. Instead he remained limp between the dragons who carried him, like he'd given up completely. The [[NightWings]] lifted the RainWing over the river and flew up the slope of the mountain heading for a fortress, letting his tail bump across the rocks.

On the NightWing island, Glory saw that Gibbon, one of the Rainwing prisoners, was being taken to the fortress for venom testing. According to Glory, his scales were a dull, heavy gray, a color of sorrow and great unhappiness that she had never seen on any RainWing before. He hung limply between the three [[NightWings|NightWing]] guards who took him out of his cave, neither helping nor hindering them. [[Kinkajou]] said that he was often taken for testing and that his venom must have been "way more exciting" than hers or any other RainWing's.

Gibbon is a male RainWing who was introduced in The Hidden Kingdom. He was one of seventeen kidnapped RainWings who were imprisoned in the NightWing island. He returned to the Rainforest Kingdom after being set free by Queen Glory in The Dark Secret.
