Aphid is a male HiveWing dragonet who was introduced in The Lost Continent.
Biography
The Lost Continent Prophecy
When Blue and Io were fleeing Cicada Hive, Aphid was one of the dragons to suddenly become mind-controlled by Queen Wasp and was ordered to hunt the runaway flamesilk down. Aphid's caretaker, a young SilkWing with pale blue and pink wings, began to panic and try to help Aphid, but an older SilkWing stopped him, saying that the young HiveWing dragonet was not himself at that moment. As the caretaker backed away, Aphid's head turned in strange unison with the other HiveWings, searching for Blue. When the dragonet was being mind-controlled, he spoke in Wasp's voice instead of a warbling dragonet.
