They were brought in to teach a class while Scarlet was still in the wingery which started their dislike for the princess.
Years later, Tailwind's brother, Canyon, told them that he had a crush on Scarlet which Tailwind teased him about. When Tailwind learned that Canyon and Scarlet were getting married, Tailwind attended the royal wedding.
When Canyon was put into the arena, Tailwind gifted their brother throwing daggers and armor, but Canyon did not survive.
