Queen Splendor was one of the first [[Dragon|dragons]] whose disappearance was noted by [[Mangrove]] when [[Glory]] asked which dragons were missing. She, along with the other five (former) RainWing queens, took turns being queen. When Splendor didn't show up for her turn, the tribe didn't bother to look for her, assuming the queen had flown off, and that she would come back when she wanted her turn back. The RainWing Queens eventually started skipping her turn and then forgot entirely about her.

Splendor is an adult female RainWing who was introduced in The Dark Secret. She was one of the six queens who took turns ruling the tribe before Glory took the throne, and was the first to be taken prisoner by the NightWings until Glory and Starflight freed her.

Description

Splendor is described as skeletal and drab-gray while she was imprisoned in the NightWing dungeons. However, her lean figure may be due to lack of nutrition while in the dungeons, and her coloration a result of her reactions to the miserable condition she was in.[1]
