Parch is an adult male SandWing who was introduced in Darkness of Dragons. Formerly a member of the Outclaws, he currently resides in the SandWing stronghold and serves as a guard under Queen Thorn.
Personality
Parch is easy-to-laugh and agreeable, but he is one of the Outclaws who had the most trouble adapting to the new rules and structures of the palace. He still behaves like a renegade of the Scorpion Den, without much regard for dress code or showing up to guard duty on time. He has a disregard for rules.[1] He is not malicious; he just assumes that nobody would ever become angry with him, given how many times he has nearly died to save the other Outclaws.[2] He jokes often.

The Jade Mountain Prophecy
Parch was guarding the SandWing stronghold with Tawny when Qibli arrived with Cobra, Ostrich, and Winter. Tawny was reluctant to let them see Thorn, while Parch stated that they could go in with no trouble. Eventually, they allowed Qibli to go, and Qibli told the others to wait for him by the Oasis monument.
