It was saved from the [[NightWings|NightWing's]] treasury when the volcano erupted, when everyone fled through the [[NightWing Portals|portal]] to the [[Rainforest Kingdom]]. [[Greatness]] was supposed to use it to spy on the [[RainWings]], but did not, as she didn't trust items made by animus dragons. In the preview of [[The Brightest Night]], [[Strongwings]] has it with him while [[Sunny]] is being kidnapped. During her capturing, [[Preyhunter]] pulls it out and Sunny noticed that the raindrops avoided falling on it. He states that it has not worked well lately, and that [[Stonemover]] may have done something to it before he disappeared.
