| The Obsidian Mirror is an [[Animus Dragons|animus]]-touched, oval-shaped piece of glittering black glass. It was saved from the [[NightWings|NightWing's]] treasury when the volcano erupted, when everyone fled through the [[NightWing Portals|portal]] to the [[Rainforest Kingdom]]. [[Greatness]] was supposed to use it to spy on the [[RainWings]], but did not, as she didn't trust items made by animus dragons. In the preview of [[The Brightest Night]], [[Strongwings]] has it with him while [[Sunny]] is being kidnapped. During her capturing, [[Preyhunter]] pulls it out and Sunny noticed that the raindrops avoided falling on it. | The mirror can be used for spying on other [[dragons]]. It is used when a dragon says the name of someone, and then breathes a puff of smoke on it. The smoke will change colour and shape into the dragon that the user said, and will show the user what the dragon is saying, doing and other other dragons who speak. One can then breath fire on it to extinguish the smoke.
