She was mentioned to be a color similar to the blood red hibiscus flowers garnishing the Island Palace<ref>''Darkstalker'', page 63</ref> with eyes the color of amber <ref> Darkstalker page 68</ref>. Sunset was an ambassador sent from the SkyWings to discuss [[SeaWings]] going into SkyWing territory along with [[Eagle (Darkstalker)|Eagle]]. She was at the party, being given a tour by [[Queen Lagoon]], when Albatross killed the queen. The two tried to escape, but Albatross quickly turned around, knife in hand. He impaled Sunset "where her jaw met her neck"<ref>''Darkstalker'', page 87</ref>, killing her. Her companion, Eagle, was stabbed in the heart, but miraculously, he survived. After her death, the two tribes agreed to somewhat of a peace treaty, where the SeaWings would give them the shore villages, and send a tribute of gems and seafood for the next five years due to Sunset's death as long as the SkyWings kept quiet about the massacre<ref>''Darkstalker'', page 127</ref>.
