Silver is a female sloth who was introduced in The Hidden Kingdom. She was found asleep on top of Glory when she woke up after her first-ever suntime experience in the Rainforest Kingdom. She is Glory's royal pet.

Description

Silver has long, silvery-gray fur, a peaceful smile, and enormous dark eyes. She is sleek and beautiful. Snowfall described her as a "floppy yawn-noodle" curled around Glory's neck. She is warmer than sunbeams.

Personality

Silver expresses her feelings for suntime even though she cannot speak. She loves Glory and is very attached to her, as shown in multiple scenes of the series. She also seems to enjoy spending time with Sunny. She knows Glory is pretty disagreeable but chose her anyway.

The Dragonet Prophecy

The Hidden Kingdom

Glory found Silver after she woke up from her first suntime with a sloth on her neck. Glory initially was confused and tried to shoo the sloth away, but was stopped by Jambu, who explained that the sloths were the pets of quite a few other RainWings. He claimed that Glory had been "chosen" quite fast. Upon visiting the other dragonets, Tsunami expressed interest in eating the sloth (earning some disapproving looks from RainWings nearby). Sunny reacted to seeing Silver by squealing and asking to hold the sloth. Silver's presence caused a fight between Glory and Tsunami when Glory got defensive about Tsunami wanting to eat Silver. Starflight was astounded that the sloth was not afraid of Glory and wanted to take notes.

When they found a half-dead, decaying sloth by the tunnel, Glory blocked the sight from Silver with her wing.

Later, when Glory was exploring the tunnel leading to the Kingdom of Sand, she mentioned to the other dragonets that she had named the sloth Silver and gave her to Sunny to keep safe.

At the RainWing Royal Challenge, Magnificent startled Silver by running right at her and making a loud noise. Silver ran toward Glory and revealed her hiding spot. This caused Glory to lose, which caused some disapproval towards Queen Magnificent.

The Dark Secret

Silver was in Glory's dream when Starflight visited her using a dreamvisitor.

The Brightest Night

Sunny thought of Silver when she thought Holler asked for a ride. Later, when the dragonets were talking about Blaze, Silver woke up and then went back to sleep.

Winter Turning

Silver made a very brief appearance when she was introduced by Queen Glory to Winter, Qibli, and Moonwatcher. Qibli joked to Winter that Silver was a royal pet, not a royal lunch.

Silver was curled around Glory's neck when the queens were in Sanctuary.
