Jambu is a male [[RainWings|RainWing]], and is one of the two confirmed relatives of [[Queen Glory|Glory]], the other being [[Grandeur]]. He is believed to be Glory's brother or half-brother. His scales are usually kept a bright magenta or pink, close to the color of raspberries, implying that personality-wise he is very optimistic and cheerful. When he is disappointed or depressed, which is quite uncommon considering his cheerful nature, blue-gray will usually appear on his scales in clouds. He is similar to all the other RainWings, and is a bit pathetic at almost everything except for tree gliding. He is also an instructor on tree gliding for [[Dragonets|d]][[Dragonets|ragonets]] of the tribe.

Jambu, along with [[Liana]], caught the [[The Dragonets of Destiny|Dragonets of Destiny]] entering the [[Rainforest Kingdom]]. He brought them back to the [[RainWings|RainWing]] village, and spent time with Glory to educate her about the culture of the RainWings. During this time, they compared venom and discovered - much to Jambu's delight - that they were relatives, and it was likely that Jambu was Glory's older brother.


When [[Mangrove]] took off through the [[NightWing Portals|NightWing portal]] to the [[Kingdom of Sand]], Jambu accompanied Glory and the other dragonets on their search to rescue him, which brought them to the borders of the [[Ice Kingdom]] and [[Blaze's Fortress]]. Glory and Jambu disguised themselves as [[IceWings]] to gain entrance, and when inside Jambu managed to spot Mangrove. They managed to convince [[Princess Blaze|Blaze]] to come outside so the dragonets could meet her. Glory pretended to be an IceWing named Storm and Jambu pretended to be another named Penguin. On their way out the door, they saved two [[Scavengers|scavengers]] that were about to get eaten by Blaze and her followers.

At first, Glory was unimpressed, seeing him as ridiculous and silly like all the other RainWings. Jambu is an adult male RainWing prince who was introduced in The Hidden Kingdom. He currently works as a tree gliding instructor for the dragonets in the Rainforest Kingdom and is the half-brother of Queen Glory. He currently resides in the RainWing village and is in a relationship with Pineapple.

At first, Glory was unimpressed, seeing him as ridiculous and silly like all the other RainWings. However, Jambu helped her get Blaze to meet the dragonets and nearly beat Exquisite in the tree-gliding competition, one of the five contests that decided who would become the queen of the RainWings. He was only stopped by a vine that wrapped around his neck and he was nearly strangled, possibly used by a collection of Exquisite's sloths. He appears to be one of her most trusted dragons now, even though he is rather incompetent. He also makes sure Glory takes her daily sun time, noting that it makes her less grumpy and more recharged. Glory can count on him, and he was her first choice as the RainWing representative for a queen's gathering.[12]

Peacemaker

Jambu often looks over Peacemaker and his friends,[13] but he is quite exhausted by Peacemaker's energy.[12]

Pineapple

Pineapple is Jambu's partner. Pineapple appears rested and happy while they are together,[14] and Jambu calls their time together "Pineappletime." Pineapple laughed with him and reassured Jambu that he would always be there for him, and they joke with one another quite often. He grins at Jambu[13] and is physically affectionate towards him.[12] He was quick to assure Jambu that he does lots of helpful things, and was willing to take Jambu's place on the stealth team so that he could rest. They love one another[12][15] and often spend lots of time together cuddling, eating chocolate, and making up songs about pandas.[16]
