In ''The Lost Continent ''prologue, when Clearsight arrives, it is stated that the Pantalan dragons speak the old language and only a few Pantalan dragons speak the 'dragon' language. It is highly possible that, due to [[Clearsight]] landing in Pantala, the Pantalan dragons may speak Dragon as well, or may no longer speak the old language from 2000 years ago, some dragons still know the old language but use the present one.
