While guessing who his father was, Cliff mentioned Sunset when he said he did not want his father to be [[Russet]] because he had taken Sunset's candy away after she sneezed on him.

After [[Scarlet]] was attacked by [[Glory]], Cliff ran into Sunset in the hallway. They decided to figure out what happened, and argued over whether Scarlet could have been killed by a [[scavenger]] like [[Queen Oasis]] had.

Later when [[Jasper]] mentioned that Oasis had been killed by a scavenger, Cliff thought about how Sunset was right, as he had thought the [[SandWing]] [[queen]] was killed by a hedgehog.
